Thank you for your interest and your visit to my website. I am an experienced writer and proofreader, as well as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I have lived and worked in four European countries (The Netherlands, Germany, Greece and the Czech Republic); I hail originally from the UK, but have travelled extensively in Kenya, Sudan, Egypt, Malaysia, India and Sri Lanka. For most of the past 30 years, though, I have lived mainly in Europe in the four aforementioned countries, and consider myself as decidedly a European, rather than a “UK national”.

I speak German, am familiar with Greek, and am currently learning Czech.

Much of my writing has centered on environmental and political issues, but since 2009 I have proofread and written for the English language edition of the German trade journal, Kirmes & Park Revue. My writing has largely focused on “Company Profiles” for its industry-leading advertising clients.
